Gentec is pleased to announce it has received the Michihiro Yamaki Award for 2024 from SIGMA Corporation. The Michihiro Yamaki Award, named after the late founder of SIGMA Corporation, recognizes a distributor with a long-standing partnership with the brand that has also gone above and beyond in that year.

Gentec has been the exclusive distributor of SIGMA products in Canada since 1992, working with the Yamaki family to bring the highly respected brand to Canadian photographers. In 2024, SIGMA Corporation recognized additional marketing efforts of Gentec International to continue growing the brand within Canada.
