Manfrotto makes Compact System Cameras more stable with the new PIXI mini tripod
Gentec International announces the release of Manfrotto’s PIXI mini tripod, the first ever support designed specifically for use with Compact System Cameras (CSC).
Featuring the latest Italian design, the PIXI mini tripod is lightweight, intuitive to use, and easy to carry in any situation, from parties to weekend trips. PIXI is extremely versatile: besides being a tripod, it can also be used as a comfortable video grip to help create great videos.
The PIXI features a simple push-button mechanism that lets you position and lock the ball head quickly and easily. The versatile ball head is able to tilt 35° and pan 360° to help you find the perfect composition. At only 230 grams and close to 18 centimetres when closed, PIXI is small and light enough to throw in any bag. It is constructed from premium Adapto, a high-performance polymer that’s comparable to aluminum in strength but 50% lighter, and stainless steel, making it solid and stable; the rubber feet provide a steady grip on a wide variety of surfaces. The universal 1/4” screw thread allows the PIXI to be used with a variety of devices, from compact digital cameras to an entry-level DSLR.
From sunsets and night photos to self-portraits and videos, PIXI is the perfect accessory for photographers who have found that Compact System Cameras provide them with the perfect balance between image quality, compact size, and design. Manfrotto’s PIXI (MTPIXI-B) has a suggested retail price of $39.95 and will be available August 2013.
