Hoya Filter Canada Warranty Statement

All Hoya products are manufactured to precise standards and have been subject to stringent quality control inspections throughout the manufacturing process. They are warranted to be free from defects in material and craftsmanship. HOYA Filters carry a one-year limited warranty. Should a product require warranty service, we will, free of charge, repair to factory prescribed standards or replace, at our option, any part of the product which to our examination indicates to be defective in materials or craftsmanship. Our warranty only applies to products originally distributed in Canada by Gentec International AND purchased from an authorized dealer in Canada. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges to Gentec International including warranty service.

Please note that our warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accident or careless handling; water, fungus or other foreign substance(s); or tampering, repair or attempt to repair by unauthorized repair facility or individual.

HOYA does not require customers to register their filter purchase. Please retain a copy of the sales receipt to provide proof-of-purchase and submit a copy when requesting warranty repair service.

Hoya HD2 and HD3 UV/Protector Warranty Statement

They are warranted to be free from defects in material and craftsmanship. HOYA HD2 and HD3 UV and Protector Filters carry a Lifetime limited warranty. Should a product require warranty service, we will, free of charge, repair to factory prescribed standards or replace, at our option, any part of the product which to our examination indicates to be defective in materials or craftsmanship. Our warranty only applies to products originally distributed in Canada by Gentec International AND purchased from an authorized dealer in Canada. They are warranted to be free from defects in material and craftsmanship. HOYA HD2 and HD3 Circular Polarizing Filters carry a 5-year limited warranty. Should a product require warranty service, we will, free of charge, repair to factory prescribed standards or replace, at our option, any part of the product which to our examination indicates to be defective in materials or craftsmanship. Our warranty only applies to products originally distributed in Canada by Gentec International AND purchased from an authorized dealer in Canada.
