Description
The 4K Enterprise AV over IP Decoder from Key Digital is designed to be used with an AV over IP encoder (available separately). It supports video at resolutions of up to 4096 x 2160. This encoder features an RJ45 LAN port on the front panel and an HDMI output port on the rear panel. It supports IR and RS-232 controls with a signal extension up to 330'. This decoder can be powered via PoE or using an external power supply (available separately).

- Incoming 4K resolution can be down-converted to 1080p or 720p at each decoder, enabling monitors to display content at optimal resolution at all times
- Signal extension up to 330' at 4K resolution into network switch or point-to-point
- Does not require a power supply when integrated with a compatible PoE network switch
- 900 Mb/s data stream bandwidth with 40 ms latency
- Use KD-SMS16 shelf-mounting system (available separately) to cleanly install up to 12 decoders in a rack
- Internal library features 15 default EDID configurations and native EDID data from output or display devices connected to a decoder
- Hot-plug detection control enables integrator to choose if active signal voltage is forced to connected input devices
- Full Buffer System manages TMDS re-clocking / signal re-generation, HDCP authentication with source and display, EDID control handshake, and hot-plug control
- Sensor powering via 5V IR input port collects line-of-sight IR from remote without external IR connecting block
- Two channels of IR enable control to and from devices connected to the decoder
- RS-232 bidirectional control to and from the decoder unit on Phoenix connector
- RS-232/TCP-IP control mode provides control of unit as well as connectivity status
- Support for Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Atmos, and DTS-HD Master Audio
- Controllable by all IR, RS-232, and TCP/IP supported control systems via open API AMX, Control4, Crestron, KNX, RTI, Savant, URC, and Leviton
- Built-in three-port Compass Control Pro master controller
- KD-ProCL1/2/4/8 Software Activation License available separately (required to activate iOS controllers)
